AFRICA SUSTAINABLE FUTURES AWARDS AIIM & NOA

We are delighted to announce that NOA Group has been shortlisted for the esteemed Financial Times Africa Sustainable Futures Award in the Financing Access to Clean Energy category. This recognition highlights our commitment to enhancing energy efficiency and providing climate-smart solutions for businesses in Africa.

NOA’s innovative aggregator model enables clients to access both conventional large, long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and smaller, shorter-term PPAs from a portfolio of diverse generation facilities. This flexibility broadens access to affordable renewable energy, enabling more companies to utilise renewable energy to achieve their cost savings and decarbonisation goals. By bringing new generation facilities online, we are making renewable energy more accessible and scalable.

Our investments in new renewable energy sites are not only advancing sustainable energy but also driving economic growth by creating jobs and opportunities within the renewable energy sector and beyond. NOA is dedicated to partnering with local communities, ensuring that rural areas benefit directly from our project developments through job creation and community development initiatives.

Africa’s transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy is essential for building resilient economies capable of withstanding the impacts of climate change. NOA is committed to accelerating this shift by providing the necessary energy to a broad range of businesses, thereby supporting economic development, and improving livelihoods.

We extend our gratitude to the Financial Times Africa Sustainable Futures Awards for this recognition and to our team and partners, particularly African Infrastructure Investment Managers (AIIM), for their unwavering support and nomination for the award. Together, we are powering a sustainable future for Africa.

We look forward to attending the awards ceremony in London at the end of October. Stay tuned!
